This is my new first stop for string and amp related gear! Under new ownership, this local shop has a good and varied inventory of guitars, basses, stand-up basses, etc! They have a growing percussion inventory as well.

But it is the people that really bring a warm and inviting feel to this shop! I had an ear to ear smile under my mask as I watch the owner totally encourage a teenaged girl with a friend to just plug in an ax, sit on the floor, and jam! You're not going to have that experience at a big chain store! And it made it an experience for all of us while encouraging the young lady to be open with her music.

And while the inventory is priced very reasonably, you cannot put a value on encouraging people, especially young people to learn and play music!

I saw lesson rooms and even heard that they have a room where you can just decompress! I heard one of the owners explaining to another visitor that they had set aside a room just to plug in, jam out, and destress. You are going to walk away from this place feeling better than when you walked in every time!

Check it out if you are in the area. And remember, you're never "too" anything to learn to play an instrument!

Really great store! Under new ownership. Just bought an electric guitar and amp for $200. I saw an identical deal on Amazon, but I want to do business locally and encourage others to do the same.

Cool guitar shop!! The owner was very friendly and knowledgeable. Was able to try out a few guitars and custom amps. My wife even liked the shop. We will definitely be back next time we are out that way. Thanks
