Not sure what you're asking. I had my crawl encapsulated and a sump put in. If you're asking about bracing support beams in your basement, I believe they do.

Extremely pleased with FSM! I had a well tank "pop" in my crawlspace. After fighting with my insurance company over this for 9 months, FSM came in and in one day completely cleaned and sealed my crawlspace back up to code! Service was great on all levels. They worked with me as a deaf person, and used text and email whenever possible to communicate every step of the process. Special shout out to, Cynthia!

This is my basement after waterproofing.
I have filed a complaint with their finance department and it is supposedly being investigated but still have not heard back after almost 3 weeks.
I now have more water than I did before and in places it wasn't! Hopefully my flooring is not ruined as they are going to be held accountable for that. My water heater is not lit and so I hope that is not damaged too as it is new.
After my first complaint they answered and claimed they couldn't find me in system. They sure found me in system when it was time to take my money.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Jun 4, 2023Previous reviewI contracted FSM on 04/18/2023 and put down Deposit through their GreenSky Loan Program. Work was then scheduled to start on 05/25/2023 and finish on 05/26/2023. Keith selling Agent gave me instructions to remove everything from bottom shelf down in storage space and to have cut out from section from small are down and it was done. The problem is they came and did work but tore up my basement in the process and totally removed my washer and dryer!
When supposedly finished I inquired about damage and Jason claimed we aren't responsible for that!! After several conversations it was determined he would be back in a week. I haven't heard from them since!! Now I am going to have pay to have washer, dryer, and washtub reinstalled and walls fixed on top of paying them!!

DO NOT HIRE!!!
This company cause *continual* problems with failing to follow through on their outside work, and their inside work. After many back-and-forth calls they did finish the inside work, but did not finish everything in the contract.
They left the stairs to the basement a mess - check the photos.
Very disappointed in their lack of professionalism.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

This is a long one. First, they show up without enough drop cloths to cover our flooring upstairs, but I was polite and said don't worry about it. They also didn't cover up out exercise equipment and luggage in the basement, which are now covered in concrete dust. Also, they left a bunch of concrete and debris where they had their truck parked.
After calling the company and expressing how I didn't like the completed project they scheduled an employee to come out to inspect it. 2 hours into the window for the appointment he called and rescheduled for two weeks later. Today at 11 is his appointment and he no-showed. I called the company 30 minutes ago and said the appointment is between 9-11 (which isn't true), and that they'd leave a message for him to call me. still no call, and this is now the second time I've taken time off work to facilitate the inspection with nobody showing up. I have touched literally nothing in the basement since. photos attached.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - James C.SoMa, San Francisco, CA024Feb 28, 2023
STAY AWAY CAUSED MAJOR ISSUE.
I contracted them to I stall 14 piers. When installing them they broke my drain tile pipes for my basement. They left my job before it was completed to do another job. They come back in rain to finish it. 2 weeks later my basement floods and had mud all I'm the sub pump and mud on the floor. This happen from them no capping the drain pipes they broke and letting mud flow in. Then I call them to correct issue the 1st guy the came out said it was there flat and agreed it need to be fixed. Them then send someone else out he said same thing. Then the boss said to make a insurance claim because it was a act of god. They cause this issue and agreed now they don't want to fix it and had the lawyer call wow. They also broke my shed, bemt my gurtar and repaired that bit made it look worse. When digging broke my ppwer line underground i had to had DTE some fix it.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Jim M.Maywood, IL01Dec 18, 2023
Contracted FSM to replace a support beam and encapsulate the crawl space. They sent 3 young guys who had absolutely no experience in the work required. Had I not been there to monitor their work the project would have been a disaster. The encapsulation which was supposed to keep the crawl space dry has already failed. Terrible, terrible work all the way around. Very disappointed after spending a large sum of money.

Oct 5, 2023Previous reviewOur basement flooded and our plumber recommend we call a notable waterproofing company in Michigan and mentioned FSM. They sent a young sales guy by the name of Charlie Huntwork to come give a free estimate. His advise was for us to purchase a s pump and made us believe this 6k piece of equipment would resolve our water issues for good. Because of that assurance we went ahead and had our basement carpeted again after the initial flood. Not even a month after the sum pump installation our basement flooded again. After the basement flooded and the carpet ruined again, we called Charlie NUMEROUS times to assist but he never returned a call, voicemail, or text back. I was finally able to get ahold of someone and the person who stepped in was Alex Wood. He was great on following up and figuring out a contingency plan to ensure our basement doesn't flood again. They had a crew come out and resolve our initial issue and they were amazing. Miguel A. ; Ever M. ; and Randy H. worked hard all day. From my experience, FSM has horrible sales people but their crews and management does well to keep them in business.

FSM manager called me right away when he knew there was a real problem in my basement the original sump pump was not lifting the water up out of my basement causing a flood two days in a row with heavy rain down. At their expense they decided to put in another pump brand new one that worked a lot better than the one that was originally in there that was put in 4 years ago now I just have to wait to see when I have a heavy downpour of rain thunderstorms if these two pumps will work I have the same new sump pump as a backup pump as well that I paid for I'm glad they contacted me and offered me a resolution to my problem. I would recommend them to my friends and other people I know

Sep 11, 2023Previous reviewI had FSM to repair my basement that had flooded previously before I bought the home they came out and dug trenches around my basement also recommended a new sub pump was which I put in which was 4 years ago 4 years later the sub pump cannot handle the vertical lift out of my basement and we had two thunderstorms in a row that flooded my basement on 825/23 I called them to come out and I wanted the pump to be replaced the text said they won't replace the pump because it's still working even though I can't handle the vertical lift not all pumps are the same there's some pumps that are junk and other pumps that are better even though they're all one third of a horsepower so he talked me into putting in a backup pump which is 1/3 of a horsepower did not leave me any information of what kind of pump it is and how good it is or even information about the first pump that they put in very dissatisfied with your workmanship and your texts that are inexperienced and don't know how to handle a problem and don't give you the right advice on to what you need they should have just replaced the one pump with a higher horsepower or a stronger pump with 1/3 horsepower so can handle the vertical lift of my basement which is about 11 ft it pumps out to the street now I'm stuck with two pumps hoping that when next time it has a big thunderstorm that it handles it the two together and I still don't know if it will I have my doubts dissatisfied with ith your company you don't stand by your workmanship finally after calling several times they did send me the manual by email and I wanted a hard copy of the warranty they could not tell me how long the pumps were warranted some said 5 years some said 3 years I still don't know how many years the pump is warranted until I receive it in the mail hope to God this it handles another thunderstorm I cannot afford to be down there cleaning up and mopping up after a flood when I'm 70 years old
