D&W Fresh Market

A compassionate, professional and friendly D&W staff (Susan) has helped me multiple times. Susan anticipates challenges before I ask for help such as when she sees a grocery item not ringing up properly despite my multiple self-checkout scans- Susan preemptively comes by to assist. She is one of the best grocery staff members I have encountered during my years here in West Michigan.

I go into your store for vegetables. well I keep getting rotted avocados and I talked to one of your workers and they said the produce manager leaves them on the shelf event if they are rotted becausehe hopes somebody will just grab them on accident that's just bad business!

and your store is charging five times the amount of every other store, to sell garbage that should be thrown out, not sold.

Great little place you can pick up anything and it way better than a big chain! If your coming in from out of town you should check out the selection. They even had a gentleman helping me with wine selections

I visit this grocery routinely especially when I need something more gourmet than your normal grocery store. Definitely higher end for your shopping delight. A well stocked spirits area, over the top wine assortment and a big inventory of craft beers. A large organic section, in-house butcher, great seafood assortment and well stocked prepackaged meat and seafood cases, beautiful deli area with a full time sushi chef making his pre-packaged take home sushi add more reasons to shop here. A beautiful floral section, in house pharmacy and many other departments to make D&W a great place to shop. Check it out. You may pay a little more, but the quality of your purchases are high.

This location has a very good wine and beer selection. It doesn't have all the amenities of my preferred Holland location, but it still has many items that you won't find at the more generic Meijer's stores in the area.

Great place to work for (till the end) and always carries a good assortment of high quality grocery goods. Their organic section is one of the best in the area (only rivaled by health hut). Produce is always amazing. Their bakery is notable, a good choice for birthday cakes and more.

And their Starbucks staff is the best in town.

This is a grocery store that is in business due to the fact that it's convenient and faster (sometimes) than Meijer. The prices are higher and the quality of produce is significantly lacking. However, they do have a fantastic wine selection and the staff is incredibly friendly. They also have a wonderful deli/ cheese/ and salad bar. The Starbucks they have on site is my favorite!! The coffee is always exceptionally made and the baristas are fabulous!

Looked forward to the labor day weekend and purchasing some really fun fresh foods at D&W. Found a really cool Chef Ramsey recipe and wanted to follow it along, ingredient for ingredient.
All knowing D&W will have it all. Started with the produce dept. Not bad, picked up decent fresh produce. Next the Meat dept. Small selection not many cuts displayed for a holiday weekend. Empty tray of several select cuts. Easy enough asked the "kid" behind the counter. Do you have any more Filet cuts? Um actually like no I dont think so. As he stands there blank faced. I try to get eye contact and ask if he could go check. Answer, Um like no I'm sure we dont. Ok next question Do you have any tenderloin? Blank face no eye contact looking in the display case I was looking into...um like no. standing there blank faced and not moving.
My reply, ok great thanks, as I proceed to return all my produce in the correct spot and walk out, but knowing to be a customer is the experience, I stop by the in store Starbucks. And all they had was the last drops out of a pump cooler. Awesome.
I drive down the road a mile and into a big Michigan family owned store. WOW Actually greeted at the door. Huge variety of fresh produce and the meat dept full of awesome high grade select cuts. Butcher asked if he could help. Asked what I was preparing made a couple awesome recommendations. This big "box" store was better than any others I have been to in West Michigan. And to top off the customer experience there was hot fresh in store Starbucks
This is not a plug for the big box family owned Michigan based business but a heads up to D&W/Family Fare. Its all about the customer experience.
