Mr. Roof

I was at the Allegan County fair when I walked by your booth and got signed up for the free estimate to re-do my siding. Today was the appointment, and the estimator was a small man by the name of Nick G. He shows up and starts asking questioning immediately about the timeframe of when we wanted the work done. He then proceeds to inform me that since BOTH homeowners were not home he could NOT give me an estimate. He said 2x during his speech that he was not trying to sound like an arrogant *****. He did, however, still end up sounding exactly like an arrogant *****. I'm actually really glad he wasted his time to drive all the way out here to Kalamazoo for nothing. I booted him off my yard after less than 5 minutes of his BS, and I'd suggest you send someone with more people skills to do your "estimates" smh

Roof was done quickly and correct. The site foreman Chris did use our personally rented dumpster to dispose of his household trash and brand new materials still in packaging. The issues arose when it came time for soffit/facia. They were done quickly and poorly. Multiple pieces had horrible dents and bends. We called and complained to which they said they would send someone out to talk with us about the issues. They did not tell us when they would be here and showed up a few weeks later at 9am. No one knocked or looked for the owners. They walked around the house twice and left. A few weeks later some people came out to fix the issues. They had no idea what they were there to fix and did not speak English for me to explain to them. They fixed one piece and left. The brand new drip edge from the roof is all bent around the house from the facia replacement. The people who came to do the gutters were amazing. The salesman was your typical salesman. Said anything to get you to sign the dotted line then was no further help. We went with Mr Roof even though they were not our lowest quote but because they seem to pride themselves on customer service and work quality. None of which were found during our repairs. Would highly recommend finding another quote and company. You will be left out in the cold with a huge bill and regret.

Rep was good and thorough but when he said they know what they are doing when they take down the Direct TV dish is false. I had to call direct TV take a half hour of waiting and troubleshooting to be told yes there is a problem and we will be there in a week. So no TV for a week and I was told it was in the contact I signed that they have NO responsibility. It is my problem. From a distance the roof looks great. When you get close to house there are dents and black streaks where it looks like it scraped coming down. After being told that need to prove it and start sending in photos I could see where this is going. We were to have an inspection and make sure we are satisfied but after the way I was treated I can see this will go nowhere. I did not want them near my house after basically being called a liar and told Direct TV is my problem not theirs.My fault for trusting and believing. Not reading the contract thoroughly. Buyer beware

They were here early, job was done in one day. My only issue was the shingles that were being dropped on the roof so hard that they were displacing the can lights that were installed. They cleaned everything up, I think we found 1 roofing nail after they left. Roof looks good. I was told there would be a supervisor on site for the job and the supervisor only showed up towards the end of the work and didn't stay long. This was the first time I used them, I would use them again and based on my experience, I would recommend them. Good price and a job well done!

It went great. They arrived with everything they needed around 9 am and by three that afternoon the only way you could tell they were here was the new roof. They took all of the trash with them there was not even a nail in the yard or driveway. I would definitely rehire.

Do NOT recommend this company. They are rude, always run late (or call 5 minutes before they are supposed to be there to cancel), unprofessional, Do DOT honor their own warranty, etc. They will tell you to file a home insurance claim if something is wrong with the roof that they placed and warrantied.

I am still waiting for them to finish a job that was started in October. I have called multiple times, had people come out two times who apologize for the delay, talked to managers, and my gutters still aren't finished. I am at my wits end and don't know what to do to get them to complete the job. Dont use this conpany!

Advertised on Angie's list for roof repair. Called the number and was told they do not do repairs in the Grand Rapids area. Off my list when we decide to get a quote fror a new roof.

One day replacement was accomplished. Needed more OSB than esimated. Price was not cheap but fair.

The sales guy was really nice, put on a nice presentation, but the price was insane! The estimate was almost $15,000, after all of the "discounts" since it started closer to $25,000. Our house isn't even 1000 sq ft, with a 1300 sq ft roof. They did guarantee to have everything done in one day, which was appealing, but after getting a couple other estimates, we cancelled the agreement with them - which they give 3 business days to do - and went with a company that did our roofs AND windows for $12,000. Quality was the same. Took longer for them to do it, but for what we had done and saved, it was worth parking in the street for a few days. The interesting twist, when we dropped off the cancellation, the reception by the guy we left it with was cool at best. 2 days later they still put their sign in our yard, my husband called to tell them we cancelled and received the rudest response from the original sales guy and someone from their office. Making comments like "call us when that other new roof leaks" and "why didn't you say you wanted windows, we would have lowered the price," and "we could have done better on price." I hate having to work that hard to get a fair price. It was awkward getting what we did. They "start" at MSRP pricing and create all of these discounts to look like a deal. And they want you to sign right there (well they all did really). ALWAYS get at least 3 estimates and don't share where you are getting them from. Too many are quick to judge your decisions to bull you in to doing something. The good result is that the regional manager(?) did end up contacting my husband after he complained about the awful resulting customer service - it felt so Jekyll and Hyde - and he said the staff would get more training and they hope for us to consider them for other work. It was a nice way to end it, but the overall experience was pushy, overpriced, and just rude. But definitely never accept their first 3 estimate prices. It's all inflated.

It was a horrible experience. They made a lot of promises which they did not keep. They said they would protect my landscape, and they destroyed it. They said they would come back two days later to inspect they did not. They said they would come back for a second cleanup they did not. They destroyed boards on our deck on the side of our house and on the facia. They cracked boards and filled it with black caulk and left others un-caulked. We have shingles kinked up from the roof and after three days of sun they are still standing up. No one has come back to inspect the awful job but they did send a bill.

the workers were at the house with 15 minutes of scheduled time and were finished by 4:00pm. The yard was clean and the roof seemed to be good. It is still holding with all the snow and ice Michigan has gotten shortly after the roof was put on.

They guarantee their work for life. They were very efficient and cleaned up all of the little scraps and nails.

It was a great experience. The company sent four trucks and seventeen crewmen to complete the job, and they had it done in no time at all. What's more is that they left the yard completely free of debris once they had finished.

I WAS TOLD IT WOULD TAKE ONE DAY FOR A ROOF 2500 SQ. THE CREW SHOWED AN HOUR LATE BUT WAS VERY COURTEOUS OF MY WISHES AND MY PROPERTY. THE CREW STARTED AT 9:30 AM AND WERE DONE AT 2:30 PM. I COULD NOT EVEN TELL ANYONE HAD BEEN ON THE PROPERTY. i WAS VERY IMPRESSED. THE ROOF LOOKS GREAT. I ONLY HOPE THE PERFORMANCE IS AS GOOD, AND THE COMPANY WILL STAND AS ADVERTISED .

The company showed up a day late, damaged items in the yard, did not give us a warranty in writing, and did not give us a release of liens. We had to call them tp find out why they didn't show up on the scheduled date (they said they didn't get prior job done). They tried to pull out our low voltage lighting, apparently thinking they were solar lights. Now two lights don't work. Two ceramic items in the yard were also broken. We were told they had a scissors truck that would be raised to the roof to catch the removed shingles. They didn't use that truck and instead the shingles were just shoved off the roof into the yard. We were promised a check for the damaged items. It has been weeks and no check has arrived. Funny how we had to pay them on the day of roofing, but they can't seem to pay us for weeks. We have asked for a written warranty and a release of liens, which we were told we would receive on the day of the roofing, We haven't received them either. The crew was hispanic and didn't speak english, except for the supervisor. They ate lunch in the yard, which was ok, but they left fried chicken bones through the yard, which our dogs found that night. We like our roof, but the company is not responsive after they leave and don't do what they represent. We paid more for them because of the warranty, release of liens, scheduled work day, and scissor truck to protect the landscape, none of which we got. The work was done on my second house in Ada, Mi, but I would no think of using them here in view of their attitude.
