CITY FARMER LAWN & LANDSCAPE, LLC

Sadly, it hasn't even taken place yet and it's December 10. I gave City Farmer an excellent review last year and they deserved it. We had another mild fall and that is the reason they have given us for not performing the service - yet. The ground is now covered with snow, and so are all the leaves in our yard. What a poor business decision to wait until all trees have given up their leaves. There are varieties that STILL have leaves on them. My husband and I call about every 2 weeks to make sure we're still on the list (we are). When I called again 4 days ago, knowing we were about to get slammed with snow, we were told that City Farmers has 32 men working to get everyone done. Seriously? That's a lot of people for the work not to have been finished yet. I know they do businesses as well as residential but still. In the future, I suggest CF give their customers the OPTION of having the work done before every leaf has fallen, having the yard done twice, or asking the customers if they're willing to gamble that the snow will hold off, possibly until January. Frankly, we were unhappy that our yard looked bad for Thanksgiving but that's water over the bridge. Sadly, I suspect CF is going to lose a lot of money this year because of this decision and I do NOT want local businesses to lose money. I hope they take this review to heart as someone that wants only the best - for City Farmer and for its customers.

It went fantastic. It is the best $150 we have ever spent!!! We have a large yard (2 acres) and probably a full acre that needs raking every year. In August, I went into the City Farmer and asked to be put on their fall clean-up list. I thought we would need the service 2 separate times because one of our trees hangs on to its leaves until November. As it was, City Farmer only came to our house one time, just before Thanksgiving. My only frustration was a lack of communication about when the crew would arrive and how late in the season it would happen. Because we have had such a mild fall and winter, it may be that they were working mowing lawns much longer than usual. BUT IT DOESN'T MATTER! The leaves were gone by Thanksgiving and we could not be more delighted. We will definitely use the service again. They did the job better than we EVER could have or ever DID in the past. Absolutely worth what we paid.
