Event Description: Chilly Blues is Grand Haven’s 24th annual chili cook-off and blues festival! Live blues music will be hosted at Snug Harbor, The Kirby House, The Theater Bar, The Grand, The Dee-Lite, and other downtown venues during the three day event. This year’s lineup includes The Vincent Hayes Project, The Jim Shaneberger Blues Band, The Chris Wiser Band, Christian Collin, and Big Daddy Fox. Proceeds will benefit the Waterfront Stadium Redevelopment. Saturday, April 16th, 2016 10:00 A.M. – Chili contestant registration and set up at Chilly Blues Tent (Snug Harbor) 12:00 P.M. – Chili shotgun start at Snug Harbor Deck 1:30 P.M. – 6:00 P.M. – Live blues by Big Daddy Fox 3:00 P.M. – Specimen Collection / Judging begins 3:00 P.M. – 5:00 P.M. Public sampling 5:30 P.M. – Winners announced 5:00 PM – At the Theatre Bar, Chris Wiser Band 8:00 PM – Christian Collin (Chicago)
