Oh my yumminess!
We almost missed out because the address shows as Florida instead of Michigan's (correction submitted)!
Thankfully, a local 2 towns over recommend this stop. There was only one almond croissant left, sadly, so we shared it. As a combined party of 3, we ordered 1 almond croissant, 1 regular croissant, chicken salad sammie on (wait for it) a croissant, croissant cinnamon roll & the chef's special reuben sammie, with the most spoin tender corned beef I've ever seen & not overly salty... so good!
They were running hard with a steady flow and what appeared to be 2 staff working. The staff were very apologetic for the wait, though it was certainly no bother given you could see how hard they were working to get through everything as quickly as possible without sacrificing quality.
It's quaint, cute & fabulous.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Stephanie S.Traverse City, MI0168Feb 3, 2024
This place is exactly they type of establishment I wish I had in my own town. The coffee was great, the baked goods and grab-and-go foods were delicious, and the ambiance was really nice.
A bonus was the next day when my half eaten Pain au Chocolat greeted me with a smile.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Drew T.Grand Rapids, MI0245Feb 10, 2024
We just had the most amazing dinner we have had in a long time here tonight. The food was completely amazing the wine list was excellent.
Not sure why on here it's not clear they have dinner but I think everyone should know. We came down from Muskegon to try it and we will be back for sure and will be spreading the word how great things were. The owner is very passionate about what he is doing and it shows. He is walking around talking about the menu and checking to see how well everything is going with the tables.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jan 1, 2023First to Review
A very cute cafe in Spring Lake!
We dined here for lunch with my husbands family and all had a very tasty meal! I tried the Salad Nicoise and enjoyed every bite.
The dining area is charming and very clean. There are plenty of tables and the large windows let in lots of natural light.
They had lots of tasty looking cookies and pastries I'd be interested to try on my next visit!!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Loretta W.Canastota, NY80103May 19, 2023
A hidden jewel! We had a wonderful breakfast this morning! The croissant breakfast sandwich was a wonderful balance of egg, cheese and bacon on a tender buttery croissant and what a delicious value!
Add the hot chocolate with the perfect balance of rich chocolate and whip cream and my morning was made! My husbands breakfast burrito was well received and delicious! And no stop to the Grand Finale is complete with out some sweet treats!
Cookies, muffins, lemon bar and a key lime tart all found there way home and each delicious! Add this to you list .... You won't be disappointed !Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Ann C.MI, MI03Dec 4, 2023
While the food may be okay, the service is absolutely horrendous. No one at the counter, had to go in the back to get the worker up front, and she was not happy. Proceeded to take my order with a vacant hateful glare and probably wished she could spit in my tea. I asked her if she was ok and even left her a tip, but the scary nature of the experience left me feeling uneasy with the place, and I'm not exaggerating. I will be loath or desperate to go back and it's too bad, cuz our little village has limited options. Please manager hire friendly people who actually like your customers.

My husband and I were married this past weekend at The Lilley Mansion in Spring Lake, MI. Justin and the team at Grand Finale desserts were recommended to us by the good folks at Lilley, and I am beyond happy that we went with Grand Finale for our wedding weekend! Justin got to know us a little and prepared a tasting box for us about a month ahead of time. What we ended up going with was 3 different cakes (for only 36 people!): Lemon vanilla, chocolate salted caramel, and 24k Carrot Cake. I couldn't believe it when I saw all of my guests having a piece of each flavor, and raving about all 3! The true testament to the quality and deliciousness of these desserts is that there was not a single piece of cake left over after the wedding. They couldn't plate it fast enough for our guests! Justin was also so gracious to prepare some gluten free desserts for a few of our guests, which were also consumed with glee and enjoyment. I can't say enough good things about Justin and Grand Finale Desserts--we can't wait to order the carrot cake for our anniversary! I only wish I had photos!!
