Secondly, the "sale" prices are ridiculously high. Give me a break....

Can't say I'm liking this store. It does have cool stuff... but I think I missed most of it because I was badgered too much...

Stopped in today for early Christmas shopping. So glad I did, the store's inventory is filled and ready. The selections are plentiful, from Patagonia, Kuhl, Smart-wool to name only a few brand names of their inventory. From winter coats, to sports wear to camping and hiking gear to their Thule Bikes, this store is loaded with no shortages here. Boots, everyday shoes, slippers for men, women and children, you will find it here. There is plenty of children clothing and winter wear too! Totally impressed with their inventory. Rick needs to chill out! This is a local outdoor store. As a result, you will not find Amazon prices. Instead they make up for it in knowledge and service. What some people misinterpret as "badgering" is actually called customer service. If you usually buy all cheap junk online you are probably not used to this. It's a rather old fashioned concept, but Earth's Edge does it well. If you catch one of their seasonal sales you can grab a good deal. Just get there early - their sales are popular!

I had a great need for at least one new shirt for a party I was attending later that day. I found two shirts! The selection was awesome and the service was as well. Clearly the place to go for higher end clothes at a fair price in the areas. Two employees treated me with the appropriate balance of attention and space. I will definitely be back here again when in Grand Haven.

I usually come here to buy gifts because of their large selection. But the last two times I went, I walked out with nothing.

The entire time I was followed around by staff. It felt like they thought I was going to steal something. Every time I moved to a different section they were there just a few feet away watching my every move. It made me feel very uncomfortable. Maybe they were just trying to help, but it absolutely didn't feel like that. I will spend my money elsewhere.

Went to Earth's Edge to buy our very first kayaks and had a fantastic experience. Both Jake and Noah were extremely helpful - really above and beyond. I would highly recommend them for any of your paddling and camping needs. These guys are the real deal, Jedi knights in the forgotten art of customer service.

GREAT store, so many quality selections to choose from. I went in looking for a decent pair of hiking shoes and came out with a trunk full of great clothing at reasonable prices, so be careful :) The staff truly understood what they were selling and were very helpful. I'm very happy with my experience and my bride will be as well.

Awesome place staff was super friendly. I went in looking for kerns in a women's size 11 they had 4 pairs in stock and had no problem suggesting other styles and brands. Great place!
