Chow Hound Pet Supplies

I have been coming to Chow Hound in grand Haven for a few years mostly for the do it yourself dog wash.
The bathing rooms are great because I bring two dogs and we have our own personal room.
The only thing that I noticed this visit and last was that the rooms need a good scrubbing especially under the tubs. There is a black mold on the wall. Today's visit there weren't any air diffusing nozzles on the pet dryers. I spent lots of time trying to dry my dogs without it.
Ended up bringing to Pet Supplies Plus to get the dogs dry with their dryer.
I asked the cashier what happened to the dryer attachments, she said they don't have them anymore.
Bummer, I loved bringing my dogs here.

A super friendly staff who has a keen knowledge about pet supplies. Always greeted at the door and always asked if I need assistance with finding the proper supplies. I would recommend then.

Stopped in at closing one evening, I needed to get cat food! I was out!!! They quickly found me a bag my cat would like! She couldn't be happier with the salmon chicken dry food! This is typical in Grand Haven, people go the extra minute, walk the extra mile, help brush snow off a car... Altruism.

The dog wash rooms are FANTASTIC! Clean, warm and well supplied with shampoo, conditioner, towels and peripherals this is the ideal place to give your pet personalized pampering. I am a freak who loves bathing and grooming my dog myself. I do not, however, love having a bathroom full of dog hair when I do it at home. Chow Hounds diy wash rooms are the perfect place to give the love and pampering without adding another hour of clean up at home.

Shop local! This place has nearly everything needed for your pet with excellent customer service.

We went there for the first time today and gave our dogs baths. The bath area has separate rooms for each tub. Very clean and all the supplies were available. Exceptional location.

I added Chow Hound to the Yelp Pet Stores in our area because it was not listed. We were impressed by the exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable staff.
