ABSOLUTELY
Everyone was attentive, professional and very helpful
We were particularly impressed by the two men who delivered and installed our dishwasher.
Without a doubt the best service people I have ever had in my home.

We could not be happier with our buying experience at Bekins Grand Haven. Our sales person Erin was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in our selection of a washer and dryer. She directed us to an associated site that offered 12 month zero interest financing. Items were in stock and delivered quickly. We were extremely
impressed with Brian and Andrew the install crew. They removed old equipment, cleaned behind the old equipment. Even went into basement to disconnect and clean dryer vent and cleaned outside vent opening. Scott, I need to set a few things straight
I specifically told Claire I was not blaming her for Whirlpool and their policies. I have never bullied anyone in my life. I didn't try the washer until much later because I didn't need too. ( live alone, widow and ran the machine days later not expecting it to have a defect) AND did the repairman mention that it was a humorous gesture that it stayed broken? I was not serious. I was frustrated at Whirlpool and was expecting Bekins to back it's customer. I believe your comments were more of a bully than my comment

Hello, Jean. There are several facts that have been left out of your review. They are as follows:
Your new washer was delivered on 10/31. You called us with a problem 20 days later (11/20) and we scheduled a service technician 2 days later (11/22), which you changed to 11/27. The technician diagnosed the problem and ordered necessary parts. You were leaving out of the country and asked we hold off on the repair until you returned on 12/6. You then refused to allow us to repair the unit and demanded a new one. We explained to you that the warranty from the manufacturer covers the repair of the unit in your home at no charge to you. You were rude about your demands, so we escalated your request to Amana’s parent company Whirlpool. They denied your request as we expected because you had not allowed the unit to be repaired. Once again, we offered to repair the unit for you, and you refused. We then suggested you call Whirlpool direct if you did not agree with their decision. On 12/11 you and a male friend went into our Grand Haven store and bullied one of the sweetest ladies in the world of customer service. She kept her composure through your verbal abuse and kindly reminded you that the decision was made at Whirlpool and offered everything we could which was to repair the unit for you. Later that day you called and asked for the repair which we completed the very same day. The unit is working as new after being repaired. While the technician was in your home, you asked him to keep the unit broken so you could demand a new one, which he instructed you was unethical, and he would not. Your behaviors and treatment of our people, to the point of making one cry, were unacceptable and represent why kind and caring people get out of customer service and create a void that others suffer from.Dec 11, 2023Previous review12-11-23 Customer support at Bekins was non-existent . The Amana washing machine was my 3rd large appliance bought from this store this year. The newly installed machine NEVER was used because of existing defective parts. A simple exchange of the same Amana washing machine would have solved the situation. No replacement, it could only have it repaired. Why should I have an appliance repaired when it never has been used? Bring me a replacement of the machine I purchased. Repairs should be done at their location. The Bekins store suggested I call Whirlpool! This has been going on since 10-31-23. Again, Bekins of Grand Haven should have come to my defense. Our current appliances are all on the brink of failing. About a year ago we replaced our washer and dryer with LG front loaders and I couldn't be happier with their performance. The experience from the sales team to the installation was smooth and professional! This week our dishwasher quit working and again, bought LG and so happy with its performance and the experience working with Bekins once again. Will definitely continue with this brand and company for future replacements!

Bekins might not have as many models of TVs to choose from as the big box stores but they do have enough of the best models that you should still be able to find one that suits you.
I also appreciated that the salesman was honest about which TV would be better in my particularly bright living room when I was leaning towards one that cost 1 or 2k more than the one he recommended for my specific situation rather than just sell me the most expensive one he could.
They also have great customer service in their installation department and accommodated switching the mount choice for me so I could get the install sooner. The place looks like it would cost a bunch more money than the big box stores, but it doesn't. Sure there are some price differences, but the people really know what they are talking about. Combining their knowledge for appliance products and customer service, they are leaps and bounds ahead of the rest. They service what they sell, they have experts in consumer electronics, in electronics installation/integration, appliance service, and appliance installation. The best thing is that the sales professionals don't just try to sell you on what will make them the most money. They try to find out exactly what it is that you want and need, then help you decide on a solution tailored to your situation.

Today I finally lost it with Bekins. I have spent a lot of money there for high end entertainment systems and appliances. They are very expensive and the customer service is the worst. Rarely do they ever fix things correctly, and their arrogance is such that any service requires payment up front. After spending thousands to get our entertainment system they installed to work correctly, I finally called someone else to fix the mess. Most recently, they came to "fix" my wine refrigerator. When finished, the "refridgerator" would only cool to 80 degrees. Bekins called me today and told me that I owed them another $260.00 for "fixing" the refridgerator. If you want to spend a lot of money on high end appliances and electronics and get the worst service and follow up ever, then Bekins is the place for you. But really, go somewhere else.

We pride ourselves on having outstanding customer service and apologize if you feel you did not receive the same experience. Since the issue with your wine refrigerator was brought to our attention over a year ago, we have left dozens of messages trying to get a technician out to resolve it for you. After finally completing the service call in July, we have heard nothing more of the issue still being present. Our call to collect funds was not any form of additional charge but instead, the money we did not receive in July for the service we performed. If the refrigerator is still not cooling properly, we will work with you until it does.

Zack at Bekins was very helpful. Our 26 year old SUBZEREO builtin refrigerator finally gave up the ghost. We needed a new 48" unit with a retrofit panel kit to keep the kitchen looking great. Met with Zack and he helped us price it out and even found a rebate for us. The installation went perfectly. The whole thing was handled in a professional and timely manner. Would do business with Bekikns again.

This is not a review of the people who work at Bekins. This is a review of one of the products that they sell. The salesman that helped me purchase my new refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave was very helpful. However, I purchased a Kitchen Aid dishwasher and wish I had known more about what a terrible appliance it is. I bought it two years ago and now it is broken. I cannot get it fixed as I cannot schedule a repair time with all the other things that I have going on right now. However, I am fairly certain it will be very expensive and will probably end in my having to purchase a new dishwasher. How ridiculous is it that a dishwasher would break after 2 years? I have owned dishwashers for well over 15 years in the past with no problems. And to say that I should have bought an extended warranty is ridiculous. Two years is so completely unacceptable. It is really inexcusable that we are expected to buy extended warranties because of how poorly products are made. I am concerned that such a good store as Bekins would sell such a poor product. Also, we are a 2-person household, so this dishwasher does not get a lot of use. No one should ever consider purchasing a Kitchen Aid dishwasher. They are a piece of junk.
