Event Description:
The three-part "Let Freedom Ring" lecture series will take place on Jan. 17, Feb. 21 and March 21 at SLDL. The series commemorates the struggle for Civil Rights in America under Presidents Lyndon B. Johnson and John F. Kennedy and First Lady, "Lady Bird" Johnson. Series speakers include USS Silversides Submarine Museum Curator Margaret Hennelly-Maniates, and Muskegon Community College history instructors Kurt Troutman and George Maniates.
