Event Description:
Join West Michigan Historical Alliance and our local community for the 17th Annual Feast of the Strawberry Moon. This historical re-enactment set in a natural setting on Harbor Island. The island is surrounded by the Grand River and is located in Grand Haven Michigan. This event bring in approximately 250 re-enactors, entertainers, demonstrators and period vendors to provide the experience of the 18th century. For the safety of your pets there are no animals allowed on the grounds. Gun and Canon fire can disorientate animals that are not trained service animals. Please leave your pets home. Thank You!
Directions:
Driving Directions to Harbor Island: Harbor Island is located west of the US31 drawbridge in Grand Haven Coming from south of Grand Haven on US31: Go through town and take Grand Isle Drive just past Applebee's on the right. This loops around under the bridge and brings you to Coho Drive, take a right, you will see the white tents and parking almost immediately after going over the railroad tracks. Coming from north of Grand Haven on US31: Just after the US31 drawbridge, turn right onto Coho Drive. You will see the Feast Banner at the entrance there. You will see the white tents and parking attendants almost immediately after going over the Railroad tracks.
