Event Description: Boys and girls in preschool through 8th grade are invited to show off their artistic skills and tell the world about the power of reading! The Friends of SLDL are sponsoring the 23rd annual bookmark contest based on the theme "Reading Gives You Superpowers." Entries will be accepted at the library from Oct. 1-Oct. 22. A panel of local artists will judge the entries and prizes will be awarded for each of the grade levels. Entry forms and contest rules are available at SLDL.
