Event Description: Invasive species have changed the Great Lakes forever. The impact of species like the blood-sucking sea lamprey, beach-littering dead alewives, pipe-clogging zebra mussels and high-jumping silver carp goes far beyond sensational headlines. Dr. Dan O’Keefe, Southwest District Extension Educator from Michigan Sea Grant Extension, will give an in-depth look at some of our most damaging invasive species as well as four types of Asian carp that have not yet established populations in Lake Michigan.
