Event Description: Political news may have you thinking this year's presidential contest may be one of our nation's most contentious, but history shows there have been several bitter battles for our nation's highest office. Join Gleaves Whitney at SLDL for a riveting review of some of the down and dirty politics of previous presidential campaigns. Gleaves is the Director of the Hauenstein Center for Presidential Studies at Grand Valley State University.
