Event Description: Michigan Notable Book author and professional chef Maureen Abood shares her culinary talents and stories of her childhood growing up in Michigan at SLDL. Abood is the author of "Rose Water and Orange Blossoms: Fresh and Classic Recipes from My Lebanese Kitchen" which contains over 100 recipes featuring the delectable flavors and spices of Lebanese cuisine inspired by her Lebanese-American family. Preregistration is required as the event will be catered by Meals for a Week and Catering. The Bookman will have copies of Abood's cookbook available during the program for purchase and signing.
