Event Description: Counterpart’s February 3 meeting will feature Ken Start, author of A Prescription For Addiction. He will share his story of addiction that began after a car accident. In addition to his experiences, which include manipulating doctors, he’ll cover how to identify the signs of addiction and how to help. Ken is in recovery and has accomplished a lot in his life. He wants to educate and inform others about how easy it is to become an addict but when you have the will, how to get to recovery. His inspiring book is available locally at The Bookman in Grand Haven as well as at Amazon.com. Reservations for the meeting at the Spring Lake Holiday Inn are due no later than noon January 4 (the Monday prior to the luncheon). Guests are welcome. Please note that Counterpart is charged for each lunch ordered, so if you have a reservation, payment for your meal is due even if you cannot attend. Public wishing to hear the program without attending the luncheon are welcome to attend at no cost and should arrive by 12:30.
