Event Description: Join shipwreck hunter and award winning author Valerie van Heest at SLDL as she commemorates the 75th anniversary of the Armistice Day storm of 1940. 5 ships and 67 sailors were among those lost during the deadly blizzard. Van Heest and the dive team from Michigan Shipwreck Research Associates examine three of the wrecks lost off of Pentwater. Learn what caused these massive freighters to sink while others survived.
