Event Description: The Loutit District Library Book Club will be meeting to discuss this month's selection, The Men Who United the States: America's Explorers, Inventors, Eccentrics, and Mavericks, and the Creation of One Nation, Indivisible by Simon Winchester. Following in the footsteps of America's most essential explorers, thinkers, and innovators, Winchester illuminates the men who toiled fearlessly to discover, connect, and bond the citizenry and geography of the USA from its beginnings and ponders whether the historic work of uniting the States has succeeded, and to what degree. Pick up your copy of the book at the Adult Information Desk and join us for a fun and lively discussion.
