Event Description: The popular "Lakeshore Big Band" has provided wonderful big band tunes for many years of listening and dancing enjoyment at the open-air venue of Grand Haven’s Waterfront Stadium. Their extensive library of tunes includes music for Latin, polka, foxtrot, waltz, and swing dances. Recorded line dance music is played during the band break. There are plenty of bleacher seats, or bring lawn chairs. Admission is $3 per person (no charge for children with adults). Weather concerns will be posted after 4:00 pm on Facebook and WGHN 92.1 FM. Directions:
From US 31 (Beacon Boulevard), turn west onto Franklin Street continuing to the end. Then turn right on Harbor Avenue to Washington or Columbus Streets. Waterfront Stadium is located behind the Depot Museum of Transportation and has entrances at the west (Washington) and east (Columbus) sides of the Stadium. Columbus Street will get you back to US 31 at the end of the night.
