Event Description: Join Barbara Carlson and learn the art of Zentangle. Zengangle are drawings created from an ensemble of repetitive patterns. They're not only exquisitely beautiful, but fun and relaxing to create. The process of creating a Zentangle becomes a form of “artist meditation" as the artist focuses on one stroke at a time. The creativity options and pattern combinations are boundless. Anyone can do it. No experience necessary. Instructor Barbara Carlson will provide a variety of mediums to explore, such as watercolor pencils, gellatos, markers, watercolor paints, and sprays. Students will color existing tangles as well as create their own. Prior tangle experience will be helpful but not a requirement. There is a $10 materials fee payable at time of registration.
