Event Description: In anticipation of Earth Day, SLDL will host a presentation about eco-friendly gardening. Join Becky Huttenga, the Executive Director of the Ottawa Conservation District, to learn how you can beautify your space using native plants. Once established, native plants need little maintenance and attract birds, butterflies, and bees. Drawings for gift certificates for a free butterfly garden and other native plants will be held during the program.
